An alumnus of the University of Ile-Ife (Great Ife), Mr Laleye obtained his Masters at the University of Lagos and has a Postgraduate diploma in Air and Space Law from McGill University, Canada.
He is a member of the European Air Law Association, Life Member of the Canadian Institute of Air & Space Law of McGill University, Montreal Canada, as well as member of the International Bar Association.

He has presented many papers on contemporary legal issues and on Aviation Law, and, was the secretary to the 1st National seminar on Nigerian Civil Aviation Policy held in 1988.
